WALKS
Due to its magnificent location at the heart
of the forests of the Vosges,
the Hotel of the Château d'Andlau is the ideal
starting point for walks.
The green surroundings of the hotel are laced with numerous fully signposted walkings routes.
You can follow spectacular routes to join the following sites :
- The Mount Sainte Odile (1 hour 45 mins by foot)
- The ruins of the Château d'Andlau and the Château de Spesbourg (1 hour by foot)
- The walking route N°5 (30 minutes by foot)
- The Hohwald (2 hours 30 mins by foot)
We can also provide you with detailed IGN maps and a book
including 60 walking routes in Barr and the surrounding area published by the Club Vosgien.
The hotel has a safe and ventilated room for drying soaked clothing and many taps for cleaning your shoes.
Picnics may also be provided.
